Regular cleaning not only improves heating efficiency but also extends the lifespan of your radiator. In this article, we provide a step-by-step guide on how to clean your panel radiator.
1. Preparation
Before starting, gather the necessary cleaning materials:
- Dust cloth or microfiber cloth
- Vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment
- Soft-bristled brush
- Warm water and mild detergent
- Clean towel or cloth
2. Safety Precautions
Before cleaning your radiator, don’t forget to take safety precautions. Follow these steps:
- Turn off the radiator and let it cool down completely.
- For electric radiators, unplug the unit from the socket.
3. Removing Dust and Dirt
To remove dust and dirt from the radiator surface, follow these steps:
- Using a Dust Cloth: Wipe the outer surface of the radiator with a soft dust cloth or microfiber cloth. This removes accumulated dust and light dirt.
- Vacuum Cleaner: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the back and bottom parts of the radiator. A vacuum is ideal for reaching narrow areas.

4. Deep Cleaning
